So your not working on the same project? cos as2 and as3 can't both be in the one game or application. I suggest that the As2 guy learns As3. I'm sure there is some way to detect song intensity and stuff although im not sure how.
Although that song thing is really well done i'm not to sure that it's actually measuring the intensity of the song and acting accordingly. It seemed more like it was scripted to that song...

I made a rhythm game once with AS2 just by streaming the audio and having the note movie clips appear with code on certain frames. I also had four layers, one for each colored note, just to make it easier to tell what to put where. I don't remember how I managed to make long notes.
That's all I know, that probably doesn't help much.
Apparently AS3 has classes for measuring specific audio properties.
nice to know with enough money people can strip even your own name from something you made. priorities.
Programmer wants to take it. I'm really not happy with those terms. :(
